The Collection Calculator website will soon give users the ability to choose which currency they want their wargame collection valued in.

The move follows analysis of the early users of the website. Almost half come from countries outside the United Kingdom, despite the fact the Collection Calculator only currently gives valuations in Pounds Sterling.

     Wargamers from more than a dozen countries around the world stored details of their collections on the website in the first few weeks after launch.

In the main, early users from outside Britain have been drawn from English speaking countries, such as the USA, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. However, users have also been attracted from Sweden, Holland and even the Philippines.

The new functionality is likely to be introduced in the Spring. Wargamers will be able to choose which currency they want their collection valued in from a dropdown on the collection input form.

The Collection Calculator will then link with official international currency markets on a daily basis to ensure the conversion rates used are up-to-date.
