Wargamer Collection site gets a Home Page makeover

27 January 2020

We have been working hard at Wargame Collections to see how we can improve the presentation of information to our users.

We wanted the information to be accessible, dynamic and easy to link to.

The first thing we have done is to provide an RSS Feed for the News stories and Peter's Posts so that you can easily follow our various projects, thoughts and ruminations.

The XML code for our RSS feed is:

Alternatively, you can connect via Feeder at https://feeder.co/reader

We have also moved the Home Page around to accommodate three new sections of links to latest upcoming Events, Directory link of the day and Blogroll of honour. All of these are designed to make the information we provide more obvious and easy to access and peruse.

The Events Diary has lots of useful information about forthcoming wargaming shows and fairs. There is  a link so that you can go directly to the Events page and view more events in the list.

We have also been looking into the database and flagging sites that we feel need to be especially highlighted. So that means that we will be setting a new Directory link of the day for you to check out every single day.

If you click on "View all" it  will take you to the Directory so you can search or browse for links yourself.

The Directory itself has literally thousands of entries covering Traders, Clubs, Shows, Societies, Blogs and contains tons of information about the wargaming world.

We have also introduced reviews from our list of blog sites, choosing the best we spot and highlighting them in the Blogroll of honour.

Why not have a regular look at what has piqued our interest from a long list of the latest published blogs that we are tracking.

And if you have a wargaming blog that we are not tracking, please let us have details so we can keep an eye on it and perhaps feature it one day in our Blogroll of honour.
