These Corps are also now done and ready to go into the box waiting for the reserves to turn up, this is so that we can finish with the armies and move on to designing the battlefield map and game for Gettysburg 1863.

Even More Corps

Flipping Blimey! Even more, Corps are arriving and they keep coming, just like at Gettysburg... Troops are still hitting the table apace and today I finished two more Union corps and another big Confederate one. I am keeping up the pressure and I must say that having pre-painted figures does make a huge difference.

There are more Corps finished from both Armies at Gettysburg! Wow, what great progress I am making with these little guys. I have to say again, a lot of modelling in a small amount of time equals lots of bang for my buck.

More Corps for Gettysburg

More corps are being created for my Gettysburg project. Here are another ten divisions, across three corps now all ready for action and raring to go. I must admit to liking rebasing these old guys; it's quite a nice process, too, a bit of craftwork, a bit of glueing, some painting and flocking, giving me an altogether calming experience. And the icing on the cake is a great-looking result.

1st Corps done and dusted

I will fight anyone that says these troops are not ready for action. Well not really fight as I am a bit of a lightweight when comes to that sort of thing. I will say though I am pretty chuffed with these men from my early past when I was still maturing as a wargamer.

Yet another project part 2

Well, talk about reuse and recycling. these fellas already did their turn all those years ago.  However, by giving these troops a bit of tender loving care, we have shown that once a soldier, always a soldier. I, for one, think they look great, and this is the story of how we rounded them off to look like brand-new figures.
